The problem
The publisher sells safety manuals and OSHA training through two separate sites, one for the US market and one for Canada, each with hundreds of state, province, and course pages. Pages like these are built from templates, so Google is slow to trust them and slow to keep them in the index. A large backlog of pages sat crawled but not indexed on both domains.
What I did
- Treated the US and Canadian sites as separate Search Console properties, since indexing status differs by market
- Pulled every URL on each site and classified its exact index status
- Worked through the not-indexed backlog page by page, submitting and tracking each one
- Prioritized the state and province landing pages that carry the commercial searches
- Built a per-URL ledger for each site so the client can see status at a glance
- Left both sites near 83 percent indexed and still climbing at handover

On the record
- 818 URLs tracked across the US and Canadian sites
- 677 indexed at last snapshot, roughly 83 percent on each site
- State and province landing pages submitted and tracked one by one
- Two national markets handled as separate Search Console properties
