These watch your indexing and nothing else, which suits a site somebody else already looks after. If you want the WordPress side handled too, that is maintenance, and taking both does not mean paying twice for the index work.

Straight answers about the money.

Why do most of these say "from"?

Because the honest number depends on the site. A technical SEO job on a four-template site is a different amount of work from the same job on a forty-template one, and quoting one figure for both means somebody gets a bad deal. The "from" price is a real floor, not a teaser: it is what the smallest sensible version of that job costs.

What actually drives the price up?

Templates, not pages. Two thousand pages built on four templates is four audits. Two hundred pages on forty templates is forty. After that it is integrations, anything that has to stay in step with a system you already run, and how much of the existing site has to be untangled before the work can start. I will tell you which of those applies to you before I quote.

Do I pay before or after?

For the smaller fixed-price jobs, up front. For builds and larger projects, split across agreed stages so neither of us is carrying all the risk. Everything is agreed in writing before I start, and the price does not move afterwards unless you change the scope.

Is the audit fee credited if I hire you for the fixes?

No, and I would rather say that plainly. The audit is real work with a real deliverable, written so another developer could act on it without me, which is the point of buying it separately. If you want the fixes done too, ask me to quote both at the start and the whole job comes out cheaper than buying it in two pieces.

Do you work with agencies and other developers?

Yes, and a good share of the work arrives that way. White-label is fine, reporting in your name is fine, and I will stay off client calls and work through you if that is how you run things.

Are these prices in dollars?
