Foudroyer alternatives: which tool do you need?

Shahid Aliupdated August 2026all guides

If you have landed here after searching for a Foudroyer alternative, there is a decent chance you are shopping in the wrong aisle, and the fastest thing I can do is tell you which aisle you want.

Foudroyer is an AI-assisted SEO suite. Auto-indexing is one bullet on its feature list, sitting alongside an analytics dashboard, keyword tracking, health monitoring, a todo list and sitemap monitoring. It is not a link indexer, and it is not really an indexing product at all.

So before comparing anything, work out which of these you are:

  • You want a cheap SEO suite and Foudroyer did not fit. Skip to the suite section.
  • You want your own pages indexed faster. Different product, and mostly a free one.
  • You want backlinks indexed on sites you do not own. Completely different market, and nothing on Foudroyer’s page will help you.

What Foudroyer actually is

Checked 1 August 2026. Its entry plan is listed at $9 a month, including 100 AI credits and 1,000 crawl credits, with each AI prompt consuming one credit. Plans scale through Professional, Teams and Enterprise. It advertises 11,000-plus users and a 4.5 rating, runs in thirteen languages, and offers a free start with no card.

Every plan includes the analytics dashboard, keyword tracking, health monitoring, sitemap monitoring, auto-indexing and multiple Search Console accounts.

Being fair about the price: $9 for keyword tracking and site health is genuinely low for this category, and the multi-account Search Console support is a real convenience if you manage several sites. The number worth checking against your own situation is the 1,000 crawl credits. On a small brochure site that is plenty. On a catalogue, it is nothing, and the entry price stops being the relevant number.

The auto-indexing bullet, and the question to ask

Auto-indexing here means what it means in every Search Console-connected tool: it submits URLs from properties you have verified. Your pages, your sites, your access.

There is one question I would put to them in writing before depending on it: does auto-indexing use Google’s Indexing API for ordinary pages?

I am asking because two tools built that way, Tag Parrot and INDEXED.pro, both closed during 2026 citing Google’s changes, and Tag Parrot refunded its entire customer base on the way out. Google’s documentation now states the Indexing API is for job postings and live video events, warns that submissions face rigorous spam detection, and warns that using multiple accounts to exceed quota can cost you access. The full background is here.

I have no evidence Foudroyer is exposed to this. I genuinely do not know its mechanism, and it does not publish one. But the cost of asking is an email, and the cost of not asking has now been demonstrated twice.

If you want a cheap SEO suite

The real comparison is not other indexers, it is the suite market: Ahrefs, Semrush, SE Ranking, or the free tier of Search Console plus a spreadsheet, which covers more than people expect. Judge these on crawl allowance and keyword database size rather than headline price, because the monthly figure is rarely the constraint that bites.

If you want your own pages indexed faster

Almost certainly you need no product at all.

Your sitemap and Search Console already do this, free and supported. Here is what requesting indexing actually does and does not do. If you publish at genuine volume and the manual chore is real, IndexPlease is the straightest version of that product, and GSCTool’s extension automates your own clicks inside your own session for a listed $29 a year. The full market comparison is here.

And if your pages are not indexing at all, no submitter fixes that. A URL at crawled, currently not indexed has been seen and declined, and submitting it again does not change Google’s mind. You can see exactly where your own pages stand with the free bulk index checker.

Different market entirely, and Foudroyer cannot enter it. Nothing built on Search Console can push a URL on a domain you have not verified, which is the whole reason a separate category of tool exists.

That category is SpeedyIndex, IndexMeNow, Omega Indexer and Giga Indexer, it is opaque about its methods, and prices across it vary by more than tenfold for near-identical promises. Read one of those pages rather than this one.

The overlap worth noticing

Suites like Foudroyer bundle indexing because it demos well, not because it is hard. The genuinely difficult part of indexing was never submitting the URL. It is working out why Google looked at a page and decided not to keep it, and no dashboard, AI-assisted or otherwise, will tell you that about your own content. That judgment is the work.

If you want the cause named rather than another dashboard, send me the URL list. The diagnosis is free, and if the answer is that your sitemap is healthy and you should stop shopping, that is what you will hear. Where there is real work, indexing work starts at $25 with a per-URL ledger. See how it runs across location pages if that is closer to your situation.

Quick answers

Is Foudroyer an indexing tool or an SEO tool?

An SEO suite, with auto-indexing listed as one feature among analytics, keyword tracking, health monitoring and sitemap monitoring. That matters because most people searching for indexing tools want a single-purpose product, and half of them want one that pushes backlinks on domains they do not own, which this does not do at all.

Is $9 a month actually cheap for an SEO suite?

For the category, yes, strikingly. Established suites start several times higher. The figure to interrogate is not the price but the allowance: its entry plan lists 1,000 crawl credits a month, which does not go far on a site of any real size. Cheap per month and expensive per crawl is a common shape, so check the allowance against your actual page count before switching anything.

Can Foudroyer index my backlinks?

No, and nothing built on Search Console can. Auto-indexing features work by submitting URLs through properties you have verified ownership of. A backlink lives on somebody else's domain, which you cannot verify and cannot submit. That is precisely why the backlink indexing category exists as a separate market.

Is Foudroyer's auto-indexing at risk from Google's API changes?

I do not know its mechanism and it does not publish one, so I will not guess. What I would do is ask them directly, in writing, whether auto-indexing uses the Indexing API for ordinary pages. Two tools built that way closed during 2026 after Google tightened up, so the answer tells you how much of your workflow is exposed.
